TimeTrak® Text Message allows employees to conveniently transact using ordinary SMS (Simple Message Service)  text messages.  Just send the appropriate message to the TextTrak number and the transaction is complete!  The wireless data collection system connects directly to TimeTrak.

No Mobile Device Software to install, Only the ability to send and receive text messages

Your mobile device can become a wireless time clock allowing employees to report their arrival for work, their departure, return from lunch or break, even perform department or job class transfers.  A pay period hours summary report can even be sent in SMS text format to the employees mobile device.  A message can also be sent to confirm receipt of any punch transaction.

TimeTrak® SMS has been designed to work with any ETSI GSM 07.05 (Version 7.0.1 Release 1998) compatible GSM modem.  Any GSM mobile phone (with suitable serial/USB data cable or Infrared port) that have built in modem and support AT commands can be used.  Some of the popular GSM modems are as follows:

A valid SIM card which has access to SMS service is required with the GSM modem.
(Note: Most nokia phone models do not support AT command set directly.  To use TimeTrak® SMS with Nokia phones you may need to install Nokia Data Suite software or the appropriate modem device driver.)
